Happy Halloween!

Neighborhood block party in the culdesac.

Mexican pot luck.

Mexican beer.

Candy.

Ghosts and Goblins.

What can I say, I love Halloween and celebrating it in the suburbs rocks when you have kids. Quite a change from past Halloweens spent in the crazy college parties of UCSB and even crazier days of the Castro celebration in San Francisco. Now the suburbs of Tampa, family style. And I'm lovin' it.

hey, so how does Mexican in Florida differ from Mexican in California...just curious, and hungry, now that I think about it!
In case your wondering how Mexican differs in Ireland, it doesn't. It doesn't exist...have yet to see/go to a Mexican restaurant. But there is a slamming on in Aberdeen if you ever get up that north on this hemisphere!

Natalie looks adorable!

Ahh, California Mexican, nothing like it. How I miss a good burrito or chilaqueles. FL mexican is basically like a Chili's, not very authentic. Although I imagine Miami would be good. I am however, discovering a love of Cuban food, which is everywhere and spicy. MMM!! I'll keep the Aberdeen rec in mind for our next trip!
